KLFC STAFF
The Korean Language Flagship Center at UHM is composed of a director, a program coordinator, a senior consultant, anda Flagship graduate assistant. The Korean section of the Department of East Asian Languages & Literatures (EALL) has four professors in Korean linguistics, two professors in Korean literature, three full-time instructors, in addition to lecturers and graduate assistants. They are all actively involved with the Korean Flagship program in teaching, advising, and recruiting or supporting Korean Flagship students.

Her primary research interests include Korean Phonology and Phonetics, Second Language Acquisition, Content-Based Instruction, Teaching Language and Culture of Korea through Korean Film. She is a recipient of the Board of Regents’ Medal for Excellence in Teaching at UHM in 2009.
